• Yolande from Germany: I do really not know any other talented actor than Benicio. I understand how hard could be for a Latin American actor to climb so high in Hollywood so I appreciate his efforts a lot and I like how he acts and also how he looks. He is very motivated in all his roles and I think he deserves this new price he won. He is simply the BEST!

• Marianne from the United States: Benicio is the most intense actor ever. The fact that I think he is gorgeous, hot and mysterious makes him the only actor in the world I feel that way about. I am glad he doesn't take just any role. The fact that he hung with the wacky gonzo master, Hunter S. Thompson, and lived to tell about it says a lot.

• Jean from the United States: I'm now 85 I think he's the best actor in the screen today. I also like the fact that he stays out of the celebrity limelight although I wish there was more written about him.

• Chris from the United States: He is mesmerizing to watch… loved him since I saw him in Excess Baggage and could not take my eyes off him - saw the movie 28 times!
• Hilda from the United States: Benicio is the best! When my daughter was injured, his brother Gustavo, the physician, provided the best medical care anyone can have. Then on top of that when he found out that my daughter was a fan, Benicio not only send a signed autograph picture but also called and spoke to her. My daughter was elated that now she is grown and has movie parties on opening day in support of him. Benicio you rock!
• Joan from the United States: I've been a fan from way back… but, it wasn't until I saw him in Snatch that I really found him to be a great actor as well as a fun icon to fantasize about.
• Leslie from the United States: It was really hard to pick a favorite film, because they are all good! Benicio is a very talented, versatile actor. My favorite one! He puts his heart into every role.
